When I gave birth to my daughter, I did not realize how bad the ac was going to be at the hospital.
I figured it was an in and out procedure.
While I was doing my thing, my husband kept saying that it was incredibly hot plus that him and I needed to adjust the temperature control settings to get some air cooling into the room. When I asked the nurses about changing the temperature control settings, they just gave me an odd look plus said they would see what they could do. I know that they never bothered to adjust the temperature control settings plus I was then left to deal with being hot and my husband being miserable about it. I had to be induced with oxytocin to get the contractions to get going. This was basically because we were already passed the due date for the baby, plus both of us needed to get this baby going! I also decided that I wanted to try to go through the labor plus delivery separate from receiving the epidural. This I swiftly gained was a big mistake because the contractions were becoming so bad, I could no longer tolerate the pain. This was awful for my husband because he was trying to get the nurses to get it, but somebody else was getting one, plus they could only do one at a time. The other nurse took forever to get it plus I was suffering the whole time separate from even enough air cooling.
