A hot day at the ball game

A couple of days ago while I was at my friends baseball game I ended up having to be taken to the hospital due to extreme dehydration.

Looking back on it now it might have been a bad idea to attend this game considering it was so hot and I am not used to extreme temperatures down here in the south, but it’s a little too late to do anything about it now. I have never been much of a sports fan but due to some luck I was able to get a cheap ticket to be able to make it down south for the first game of my best friends senior season. Just before I agreed to go to my friends big baseball game I had been told that there would be press box seats for me to sit in that were equipped with free food, drinks, and state of the art air conditioning. Knowing how forgetful my friend was however, I wasn’t even surprised when they completely forgot to send my the press box seating before the game started. Without any form of air conditioning for those two hours it didn’t take long until I began to feel light headed and ill. I was lucky enough to be sitting next to a sweet older lady who was able to guide me to her car and drop me off at the hospital where I was given fluids and relaxed in the lovely air conditioning. I think it’s safe to assume that for the rest of my friends career playing baseball I will be watching them on the television.
