I have been putting it off for way too long.
I need to purchase a new furnace ASAP. I have known that my furnace has had issues for quite some time, but I just ignored it. I sort of just hoped that it would go away. That was wishful thinking at its finest. If I would have started saving for a new furnace when I first started having issues with it, I probably would have had more than enough money by now. It was definitely not my wisest decision to just ignore the problem for years, and now, I have to live with the consequences. I have to buy a new furnace this winter for sure. I can’t imagine my furnace lasting another whole winter, and I truly don’t want to risk it. I am going to have to go into debt to buy a new furnace which really stinks, but it was totally my fault. I know that a new furnace will cost me a few thousand dollars, and I am really not looking forward to having to spend that on a furnace. I am thinking about using my tax return money to buy a new furnace, but I was saving that for a new vehicle which I also desperately need. It is going to be a hard choice on whether or not to go into debt over a furnace. I am going to see if I can find a used furnace for a cheaper price. Hopefully, I can get a good deal on a new furnace so that I can use my tax refund but still have some money left over to go towards a new vehicle.
