I must say, I have slowly built up a remarkable collection of scarce books. You know, you legitimately have to spend money top dollar whenever you find the best and most sought after books, and because these books are worth so much cash on the market, I have a lake house with a high tech security system. I even have video surveillance and I’m consistently alerted to any activity that is going on in our home, that means even if there is a fly buzzing around, our security plan will quickly catch it and let me know exactly where it is. I have a undoubtedly costly library in the house where I can only get in by the use of our thumb print, but this also means the only way anybody can get in there is to force me to hand over my thumbprint, or to split off our thumb to get inside. Besides all my security, I have invested in a highly powerful Heating & Air Conditioning system and air quality control system. I have a fantastic humidifier that keeps the humidity levels just right, no matter what’s happening outside. You don’t want too much humidity or the books will start to sprout mildew or mold. You absolutely don’t want your rare books to rot in your home. You also don’t want them to become overly dry as they can very easily become severely disfigured this way. I also have a backup generator for the HVAC that will keep our Heating & Air Conditioning plan legitimately working continuously, no matter if the power goes out. I’m undoubtedly dramatic about keeping our books safe and in fantastic shape.
