Programmable thermostats became mainstream in 70s

I am indifferent to it all.

Are you seasoned enough to remember the cartoons The Jetsons? It was on air back in the 60s & aired until the late 70s’. It was a cartoon that took location in the 21st century where everything was automated, but the family had a robot for a maid, & there were flying cars, had facetime calling, the Mom worked from home, their house was in the sky, & so much more, then everything the family needed was at the push of a button & the two of us are literally living the cartoons in real time right now. Technology has advanced so much over the years, but we have so many different gadgets that have made our lives that much easier, and some people are ok with this technological wave, while others would love to keep things as they are. I am indifferent to it all. In our opinion, if a robot or a gadget can improve our life or save me some currency, then I am on board with it, for instance, I have a Smart programmable nesting thermostat in our beach condo & prior to installing the thermostat, I did the research on it to see all the benefits of the thermostat, then and turns out the programmable thermostat can make our beach condo more comfortable while saving me currency, but of course, that is a no-brainer, so it was straight-forward for me to purchase the component & install it in our home. Programmable thermostats became mainstream back in 1970 however some devices that operated love a thermostat have been traced back to the early 1900s. Of course, technology has improved since then & I am cheerful that I can benefit from all the improvements that have been made over the years.
