I Hope I’m Lucky on The Flight Back Home

I don’t know where my home is any more.

I am actually flying back home to my flat overseas in a few weeks and I call that home too but my friends and family are here.

I have some friends there but it just isn’t the same as my old friends here who have known me my whole life. I just can’t live here in the state year round any more because of the expenses of living and the traffic. Driving is my main issue with living here in the state, I’m just tired of the stress of it. Air conditioning and heating in cars makes it more comfortable but it still doesn’t take away the stress of driving in heavy rush hour traffic. Maybe when they master self -driving vehicles it will change the game of driving, but until then it is just not fun to do for me anymore. I can’t imagine being a taxi driver in NYC, it’s like driving to work everyday but never getting there. My flight over here was nice, the air conditioning wasn’t too cold and my row of four seats was all for me. I got to put all of the armrests up and lie totally flat along the four of them. It was the best overseas flight I have ever been on, probably a lot more comfortable than the people flying in first class. I don’t know if going back will be the same though. As long as the HVAC equipment on the plane is not freezing me the whole time I don’t mind flying.
