It all began as an idea when my dad visited his friend and saw his friend’s dad work on their air conditioning system.
In those days, only the wealthy had such sophisticated new HVAC, and for my dad to see the cooling equipment in person, he was fascinated.
He asked the cooling expert so many questions. Years later, my father got his first job as a junior HVAC tech who dealt with all types of heat and AC products in a store downtown. He worked his way up the ladder until he became the director of a renowned company in the cooling industry. He would also visit training institutions and offer lessons to upcoming HVAC professionals. My father worked for the company for fifteen years before he started his small cooling corporation. At first, he faced many challenges, but the industry network he built over the years helped him grow his business. Within three years, dad’s company was known to be the leader in providing help with indoor comfort. The technicians were for air conditioning installations and repairs. We grew up with dad toiling away in the company. We would visit him at the office and have the time of our lives. Dad never dismissed our questions about quality HVAC or any cooling technology; that way, we learned much about his job. We all knew how to clean and replace an air conditioning filter. I remember helping him replace our old dial regulator with a programmable thermostat. The company is now well-renowned in the heart of the country. We have about one hundred new contractors and branches scattered throughout the country. Two of my siblings and I all work at the company but in different capacities.
