It’s great to feel needed, that’s for sure
Dex and Amy love their jobs teaching Heating, Ventilation and A/C classes at their trade school here in town. It’s their number one job that they have ever had, to be honest. Dex and Amy have been working here for close to three years or so. They got this job as a part time job to help fill the time whenever they retired from the Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor that they had been working for the past 27 years. They worked as Heating, Ventilation and A/C techs, but at that point in their lives, they wanted to do something new and different. They just needed new challenges, so when they got the position as a local trade school to teach the heating and cooling classes, they thought that it would be the perfect fit for them. They don’t have to be there all day long, and they do cherish meeting all of the young people who come in to learn about heating and cooling technology. Dex and Amy have to say that it’s the best job ever and that maybe they have missed their calling and they should have been instructors all along. Plus, everyone says that they are great at teaching. Their students particularly seem to love them. It’s great to feel needed, that’s for sure. Dex and Amy love the job so far, and they hope to be here for years to come. They never would have thought that the trade school would be where they ended their work, but they are hoping that that turns out to be the case, honestly! They can see themselves staying here for years as well as years to come.
